Wellness Journey
Wellness Journey
Was created to promote healthy choices for people in active addiction by providing a structured program that has participates come up with their own goals in the Medicine Wheel and meet weekly with a case manager. The Wellness Journey has shown to do the following for participants.
- Increase self-esteem and access to services.
- Promotes healthier lifestyle choices.
- Decrease isolation.
- Increase connection to culture and tribal language.
- Empowers individuals.
- Decreases riskier behaviors.
Cultural Prizes
Individuals who participate in the Wellness Journey have access to winning locally beaded items along with other tribal prizes.
